This piece is a representation of my ongoing study of blending abstraction and representational expressions. I use video as a binding dynamic element.
Once the clay face is bisque, it will become more integrated as a screen, as a surface reflecting the portion of video that it is covering. The original face did not have the proper scale, and I did not feel was adequate in its representation of a face. It read more like a mask than a face.
